Description



Treasures abound in this collection of vintage baseball memorabilia. Dating from the 1900s-1960s, this exciting assortment is filled with pennants, baseballs, Wheaties panels, and more, including a couple of "Babe" Ruth items. Condition is pleasing overall, and most items are related to Major League teams and players. 


Featured are:


1904 Fan Craze partial board game, with a deck of play result cards and a wood playing field (EX); 


1909-1970 Shibe Park/Connie Mack Stadium brick with brass title plate shows age-appropriate wear, and is accompanied by a COA from The Philadelphia A's Historical Society;


(2) c.1920s Lowe & Campbell Official League baseballs (EX+, VG);


1936 Rand McNally "Babe Ruth's Baseball Advice" player's guide book (FR);


(3) 1930s Wheaties hand cut box panels: Mel Ott presents VG details with deference to a bit of surface loss at the bottom right corner; Hank Greenberg presents as EX+ with deference to creasing at the top left and bottom right corners; "Lefty" Grove presents VG details with irregular edges;


1930s New York Giants National League Champs 3/4-size pennant with Polo Grounds appliqué (VG);  


1930s 1-Cent "Push" panel for candy redemption (VG+) due to dings at the top corners, otherwise presents much better;


1940s Exacta Corp. "Babe" Ruth wristwatch (EX) with genuine leather band, and original plastic baseball presentation case;


c.1940s Reach Official League baseball (VG-EX)


1959 Philadelphia Inquirer 14x19 Phillies Schedule broadside presents GD-VG details with deference to a small abrasion on the "August 1" box;


(14) 1940s-1960s Mini-Pennants average (EX to EX-MT+) with: Baltimore Orioles, Boston Red Sox, Chicago Cubs, Chicago White Sox, Cincinnati Reds, Kansas City Athletics, Milwaukee Braves, (2) different New York Giants, New York Yankees, Philadelphia A's, Pittsburgh Pirates, St. Louis Browns, and Washington Senators.
