Description



Recall the "Boys of Summer" with this collection of Brooklyn Dodgers cards and autographs. Issued by Topps and Bowman, are (80) cards dating from 1949-1957. Joining these vintage cardboard treasures are (24) signed items, including a good number of Hall of Famers. Auction LOA from JSA for the autographs.

Multi-Signed (4): Boys of Summer Spectacular photo cache creased with Jackie Robinson postage stamp postmarked 10/8/83, signed by (5) with Maglie, Labine, Miksis, Hermanski, Shuba with "Shotgun", signatures are not affected by the creasing; 8x10 photo of 1947 Dodgers infielders signed by (3) with Jorgenson, Reese, Stanky; (2) cuts adhered to heavy backer with Snider, Roe; 4 x 5-3/4" album page with one fold, signed on one side by Newcombe, and by Meyer on the other side;


Happy Chandler single-signed book photo clipping of Jackie Robinson with horizontal fold at center;
