Baseball's main events are spotlighted, with this 1934-1959 World Series and All-Star Game program, ticket stub and photo collection of (6). While condition runs toward the lesser end of the scale, scarcity, and considerable age make this big game selection a hit.

Featured are:

1934 World Series program, Detroit Tigers edition scored vs. St. Louis Cardinals "Gashouse Gang". No grade, the cover is absent and several pages are loose. (11) Tigers players have signed throughout with average ("8-9") strength: Elden Auker, Tommy Bridges, Frank Doljack, Luke Hamlin, Ray Hayworth, Fred Marberry, Billy Rogell, "Schoolboy" Rowe, Vic Sorrell, "Gee" Walker, and "Jo-Jo" White.

1934 Detroit Tigers - Champions 12x9 team photo (PR).

1935 World Series Game 1 ticket stub (FR) from Detroit's Navin Field.

1935 Radio World Series Score Card sponsored by Cities Service Oil Company, and scored for Detroit Tigers vs. Chicago Cubs Game 2, with Hank Greenberg home run in the first inning. This off-site program presents GD-VG details with deference to doodle sketches throughout and album paper/adhesive residue on the back cover.

1956 World Series program with Brooklyn Dodgers vs. New York Yankees presents FR-GD details, however the Mickey Mantle photo page has been removed, and several pages have sections cut out. (4) Dodgers players have signed throughout with average ("8-9") strength: "Duke" Snider (HOF), Don Bessent, "Pee Wee" Reese (HOF, partial signature), and Sandy Amoros. The fifth signature is that of batboy/clubhouse attendant Charlie DiGiovanna.

1959 All-Star Game program presents GD-VG details, however the centerfold scoring grids leaf is detached, and a section has been cut out of the AL grid page.

Auction LOA from JSA for the autographs.

Also present is a 10/2/35 Detroit Times Sports newspaper page with coverage of the 1935 World Series (GD).
