Description

When talking about big game performers, Bob Gibson deserves prominent mention. While working for the St. Louis Cardinals, the intimidating Hall of Fame hurler made it to the World Series three times, racking up a 7-2 record and 92 strikeouts, with a 1.89 ERA, and a 0.889 WHIP in 9 games. Gibson also collected WS MVP awards in 1964 and 1967. Here's a fantastic opportunity to collect (4) Gibson related items, including a signed photo with a very rare inscription. Auction LOA from JSA for the autographs.

Featured are:

8x10 Dual-signed black and white photo (NM+) with Bob Gibson ("8") with "Last out Game 7 "64" WS"; and Tim McCarver ("6-7");

Bob Gibson single-signed ("8-9") 1981 Perez-Steele Hall of Fame postcard (NM);

1964 St. Louis Cardinals World Series Game 1 ticket stub (FR) with tape stains on the perimeter, and a written score notation on the back that reads "St. L. 9 NY 5";

1964 St. Louis Cardinals vs. New York Yankees World Series program (VG) not scored.
