Possibly used by the Chillicothe Infants, Lima Cigarmakers, Hamilton Mechanics, Ironton Nailers or any number of other squads—the offered early 1900s Ohio League baseball has seen its share of action. While presumably manufactured for the Ohio State (D) League, this red-stitched sphere is a sterling memento for residents of the “Buckeye State”. While it is uncertain whether the ball was actually used in a game, the orb displays a combination of wear consistent with extensive play. The Ohio League trademark is boldly stamped in black, with model numbers and other indistinguishable markings visible on opposing panels.
