Description

Established in the late nineteenth century, gridiron combatants from the University of Michigan Wolverines and the Ohio State Buckeyes have engaged in football warfare. Though a recent Ohio State six-game winning streak has brought the series record closer, the early games were dominated by the Wolverines. It was not until 1919, when Columbus’s favorite sons broke through to the winning column. The offered 12x10 matted cabinet from the 1919 contest documents the frenzy of the conquest. The suited spectators are timelessly depicted on this historic black-and-white picture. Despite an instance of heavy creasing and mild discoloration, this memento is ideal for the college football memorabilia specialist.
