Offered is an interesting quartet of 1900s-1940s boxing and basketball items with a Baltimore emphasis. Included are 1.) circa 1900s Joe Tipman “Featherweight Champion of the South” boxing photo calling card (VG). This rare artifact of the Baltimore pugilist is crease-free with moderate soiling; 2.) circa 1900s “The Diamond Bowling Alleys and Café” trade card of Frederick, Maryland. This ephemeron grades (FR to GD) with moderate paper loss, soiling and water damage. Legend holds that several members of the early Baltimore Orioles frequented the establishment; 3.) signed 1948 Bowman Basketball #38 Buddy Jeanette RC (EX to EX-MT) with salutations (“9”) and 4.) circa 1930s Norman Sporting Goods (model 12B) medicine ball (EX).
