Issued at Miami's Orange Bowl for the fifth installment of the sporting world's biggest spectacle, the offered Super Bowl V program is a well-preserved keepsake from an afternoon that featured a series of "firsts." The inaugural title contest after the AFL-NFL merger, Super Bowl V represented the first-ever version decided on the last play from scrimmage, the first in which a quarterback was not named the MVP, and the first (and only) in which a member of the losing team was lauded MVP. Issued for Baltimore's come-from-behind 16-13 triumph over Dallas, this 100-page publication includes color and black-and-white photos of the combatants, season and event statistics, rosters and a feature story on the tragically felled legend for whom the game's coveted trophy was named that year. With covers and all pages intact, the guide presents as (EX), with minimal spine wear and incidental wrinkling on the front and back covers.
