Home to Greenberg, Gehringer and other “Motor City” legends, Briggs Stadium was the second of three names for the since-razed Junior Circuit venue. This row of (4) stadium seats was once a fixture at the Detroit hardball palace. Measuring 73-5/8" in length and 27-1/2"-tall, this tried and true artifact is comprised of a sturdy steel framework formed to form back legs (once secured to the cement) and armrests. Secured within that frame are three-panel wooden backrests and folding wooden seats. The item shows the effects of the Midwest elements, as a coat of gold-colored paint has chipped away to reveal large sections of a previous coat of green. Additionally, there is rust about the metallic components. Due to the size/weight of this lot, a shipping surcharge will apply.
