Cashing in on the collectibles craze of the late-1950s, the Wisconsin-based Hartland Plastics Company produced statues depicting baseball immortals like the (6) in the offered lot. These plastic figurines show period superstars (of the 18 total players represented, most were confined to teams of the Midwest) in action poses in their teams' home apparel. These examples are off-grade with varying degrees of age-induced discoloration. Includes: Aparicio, Fox, Mantle, Mathews, T. Williams and a "Bat Boy" example (originally known as "Little Leaguer"). It should be noted that with the exception of the Aparicio statue, all of them are able to stand upright.
