One of the few notable "honest" Black Sox from the 1919 installment, Hall of Famer Eddie Collins remains the lone player in Major League history to have played for two separate teams for at least 12 years apiece. The offered 1933 collectibles pairing is a unique one, indeed. With both encapsulated and deemed "Authentic" by PSA, the coupling includes a 1933 Goudey Gum #42 Collins and a U.S. Government Copyright Card pertaining to that Goudey example. The card has handwritten check marks and (2) copyright stampings (on the reverse) that account for its technical grade. These identifiers include the “JUN 1 1933” patent date and a “122263” copyright number. The accompanying copyright card lists the Goudey Gum Co. and Saul Arkin as principals of the 1933 registration (and also list the aforementioned copyright number and patent date). Arkin, incidentally, was the artist who composed Collins' image on said card.
